John Wayne Gacy - The Holy Grail of John Wayne Gacy's clown paintings. 
This is Gacy's original 11" x 17 1/2" template depicting Gacy's alter ego's for both Pogo the Clown and Patches the Clown.
 Gacy put this together on a manila folderwhile awaiting execution.  This is the original template Gacy would lay on the canvas, trace the outline before painting his famous self portrait clown paintings.  Gacy would perform as Pogo the Clown when entertaining sick children.  Patches the Clown was the alter ego Gacy dressed as for grand openings of ice cream stores and places which Gacy's company, PDM, helped build. 
Gacy has clearly marked one side as Pogo and the other side as Patches and he has signed both sides in full, John Wayne Gacy.    Arrangements to obtain this piece were made with Gacy only weeks before his execution.
