Chad Daybell is an American doomsday fiction author who was convicted of first-degree murder, conspiracy, and insurance fraud for the 2019 killings of his first wife, Tammy Daybell, and his second wife’s two youngest children, 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan. He was sentenced to death in June 2024.
