Clifford Olson (1940–2011) was a Canadian serial killer responsible for the murders of at least 11 children and teenagers in British Columbia during the early 1980s. Known as the “Beast of British Columbia,” Olson terrorized Canada with a series of abductions and killings before his arrest in 1981. His case became one of the country’s most infamous criminal investigations, particularly after it was revealed he negotiated payment in exchange for revealing details about his victims.
