Dennis Nilsen (often spelled Nelson) was a Scottish serial killer and necrophile who murdered at least 12 young men and boys in London between 1978 and 1983. Known as the "Muswell Hill Murderer," he was arrested after human flesh clogged the drains of his apartment building. He died in prison in 2018.
