Donald "Shorty" Shea was a Hollywood stuntman and ranch hand who was brutally murdered by members of the Charles Manson Family in August 1969. On August 26, 1969, cult members lured Shea into a dune buggy under the guise of showing him something. Charles Manson, Bruce Davis, and Steve "Clem" Grogan attacked him, hit him with a pipe, and stabbed him to death.
