Harvey Louis Carignan was an American serial killer known as "The Want-Ad Killer" and "Harv the Hammer" who targeted young women across several states. He was convicted of multiple murders spanning from the late 1940s to the 1970s and died in a Minnesota prison in March 2023 at the age of 95.
