Joseph Roy Metheny (March 2, 1955 – August 5, 2017) was an American serial killer and murderer who targeted vulnerable individuals in the Baltimore, Maryland area during the mid-1990s. He became internationally notorious as "Joe the Cannibal" after claiming he served his victims' flesh as burgers at a roadside stand.
