John Edward Swindler (May 12, 1944 – June 18, 1990) was an American murderer and suspected serial killer who was executed by the state of Arkansas for the 1976 murder of a Fort Smith police officer. Swindler was the last inmate to be electrocuted in Arkansas on June 13, 1990. He was also the first execution since 1964.
