Joseph Kallinger, known as "The Shoemaker," was an American serial killer from Philadelphia who murdered three people, tortured his own children, and terrorized four families during a violent crime spree in the mid-1970s. What makes his case uniquely disturbing is that he enlisted his 12-year-old son, Michael, as his active accomplice in his final crimes.
