Keith Hunter Jesperson (born 1955), infamously known as the “Happy Face Killer,” is a Canadian-American serial killer convicted of murdering multiple women across the United States during the early 1990s. Jesperson gained notoriety for sending taunting letters and confessions to newspapers and investigators, often signed with a smiley face. His crimes and disturbing correspondence made him one of the most recognizable serial killers of the era.
