Robert Shulman former Hicksville, NY postal worker who was convicted of murdering five women during 1991-1996. Shulman was the first person sentenced to death after New York re-instated the death penalty. In November 2005, Shulman was re-sentenced to life in prison. Less than six months later, he died of natural causes in a New York hospital.
