Marc Vincent Sappington is an American spree killer and cannibal who was convicted of murdering four acquaintances during a violent crime spree in March and April 2001 in Kansas City, Kansas. Often referred to in true-crime media as "The Kansas City Vampire" or "The Vampire Cannibal," he gained widespread notoriety for dismembering and eating a portion of one of his victims.
