Fred Neulander was an American Reform rabbi from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, who became notorious for orchestrating the 1994 murder-for-hire plot of his wife, Carol Neulander. He was the founding rabbi of Congregation M'Kor Shalom, a prominent local synagogue, but his life unraveled when he was exposed for hiring two men to bludgeon his wife to death inside their home. He died in prison at age 82 after being found unresponsive in a correctional facility infirmary.
