Susan Atkins (1948–2009) was an American convicted murderer and a prominent follower of cult leader Charles Manson. Known in the Manson "Family" as "Sexy Sadie," she participated in the notorious 1969 Tate-LaBianca murders, including the killing of pregnant actress Sharon Tate. She spent decades in prison and died behind bars in 2009.
