Terri Rachals is a former American nurse from Georgia who was accused in 1986 of being a medical serial killer at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. While employed in the surgical intensive care unit, she allegedly injected patients with fatal doses of potassium chloride—a heart-stopping drug. She was suspected of causing at least nine cardiac arrests and was ultimately indicted on 6 counts of murder.
