Brandy Holmes and her boyfriend Robert Coleman were convicted of the 2003 New Year's Day murder of Minister Julian Brandon. His wife Alice was also shot and died five years later. Holmes was convicted and sentenced to death. In 2016 her sentenced was commuted to life without parole.
