Larry Lee Ranes aka Monk Steppenwolf perhaps the most infamous serial killer from Kalamazoo, Michigan. In 1964 Ranes was sentenced to life in prison for murders in Kalamazoo MI and Elkhart, Indiana of men which Ranes had robbed before killing.
