Michael Skakel, the nephew of Robert and Ethel Kennedy who was convicted of the October 1975 murder of 15 year old Martha Moxley in Greenwich, Connecticut. Her body was found bludgeoned and stabbed the morning after partying with Skakel, his older brother Tommy and other teens in the gated community.
 The Connecticut Supreme Court vacated Skakel's murder conviction and ordered a new trial. He served about 10 years in prison before being released in 2013.
