Dr. Mutulu Shakur born Jeral Wayne Williams was convicted of racketeering charges after a 1979 prison escape and a 1.6 million dollar Brinks armored truck robbery in New York in which two guards were murdered. Shakur died in 2023 and was the step father of the late, Tupac Shakur.
