Ronald Joseph "Butch" Defeo Jr. is an American mass murderer who was convicted of the 1974 murders of his parents and siblings in their 112 Ocean Avenue home in Amityville, Long Island, New York.  The case is what inspired the book and movie, The Amityville Horror. Defeo died on March 12, 2021 while serving life in prison.

Includes the original Green Haven Correctional Facilty stamped envelope postmarked December 13, 2012, completely written by Defeo on both sides and hand signed twice, Ronnie Defeo.
While opening this, his wife ripped a good portion of his last name on the top front of the envelope.
Defeo's signature on the back is completely intact.
