Willis Virgil McCall (July 21, 1909 – April 28, 1994) was the sheriff of Lake County from 1944 to 1972.
 
In 1949 McCall gained national attention with the so-called case of the Groveland Four.
70 years later, The Groveland Four were pardoned in January 2019.
