Lawrence Bernard Singleton served 14 years in California for rape and mutilation. Paroled he eventually returned to Florida where in 1997 he murdered a prostitute in his home. Sentenced to death, Singleton died of cancer in 2001. Four page letter written by Singleton in county jail while he was awaiting trial for the murder of Hayes. The letter is torn on the bottom of the last page. Does not effect the signature. Excellent content.
