Dennis Rice (deceased) was a former Charles Manson Family member who was one of five people indicted in the attempted murder of Barbara Hoyt by giving her a hamburger laced with LSD.  Rice was later convicted for his part in the 1971 Hawthorne, California Surplus Store incident.  Handwritten postcard hand signed at the close, Dennis Rice.
