Dorothea Puente was an American female serial killer born Dorothea Helen Gray who died in prison. Puente was convicted of murdering tenants at her Sacramento, CA boarding home and burying their remains in her garden so that she could cash their social security checks. Used sugar packet from the prison in Chowchilla. Her friend/visitor has written on the front, Dorothea Puente's from prison 01-08-2000. Includes a photocopy of a receipt for gas which was purchased on January 8, 2000 in Selma, CA by Puente's visitor.
