Fernando Eros Caro was an American serial killer who claimed at least 3 victims in Fresno County, California and is suspected in other murders. Caro was linked to a cold case only a few years before his death.  Caro died in January 2017 while on San Quentin’s Death Row.  3" x 5" thank you card hand dated July 13, 1999 and sent from death row by Caro to the mother of another death row inmate. Includes a handwritten message, hand signed with a smiley face, Fernando.  Includes the original prison stamped mailing envelope postmarked July 14, 1999. The envelope is completely written by Caro, hand signed, Fernando E. Caro.
