Fernando Eros Caro Jr. was an American serial killer, kidnapper, and rapist who terrorized Fresno County, California, between 1979 and 1980. Before his criminal spiral, he served as a U.S. Marine Corps lieutenant and helicopter pilot. He spent 35 years on death row at San Quentin State Prison before dying of unknown causes in 2017 at the age of 67.
