Henry Lee Lucas (1936–2001) was an American serial killer who became one of the most infamous figures in true crime history after confessing to hundreds of murders across the United States. Although many of his claims were later discredited, Lucas was convicted of multiple killings, including the murder of his mother and several women. His partnership with fellow drifter Ottis Toole and the controversy surrounding his confessions made his case one of the most debated serial killer investigations in America.
